My thought for Today is Proverbs 3:5 NLT “Trust in the Lord with all your heart;do not depend on your own understanding.”
Truly these are trying times and if you are like me, every day brings about its own challenges. It’s easy to go about life allowing your emotions to rule, but the bible tells us to trust in the Lord with all of our heart and not to depend on our own understanding. God has a plan for your life and He knows how to bring that plan to fulfillment. So trust in Him remembering that He loves you!

My thought for today is 1 Peter 3:9 NLT. “Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.”
This scripture encourages us not to retaliate when someone says or does something out of the way to us. Instead scripture tells us to bless them and you will be granted God’s blessing.
It’s easy to live by the rule of an eye for an eye, but will you choose to be a carrier of God’s love to the world? Remember God loves you!

One of my favorite plyometric exercises is the barrier hop. Almost anything can be used as evidenced here by me using a bench.
This drill develops fast twitch muscle fibers and enhances vertical jump height and improves agility. It strengthens muscles involved in quick directional changes and helps athletes accelerate and decelerate more efficiently. With every challenge comes an opportunity!

My thought for today is John 3:16 NLT “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
I have three sons that I love very deeply and I can’t imagine sacrificing one of their lives for someone I don’t know. For someone that probably cares nothing about me and may not be a good person by the world’s standards.
Yet this is exactly what God did. He gave His one and only son for a world that deserved eternal judgement. This is the ultimate display of love. Why wouldn’t you want to serve a God that loves you that much? Entering into a relationship with Him is as easy as 1) confessing that you are a sinner in need of a savior. 2) Repent and ask for forgiveness. 3) Ask God to come into your heart and promise to live for Him.
Receiving the gift of eternal life is as easy as 1,2,3. Remember God loves you!

My thought for today is Romans 8:28 NLT “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
This verse is a powerful reminder that God is always at work in the lives of believers, even in difficult circumstances. It doesn’t mean that every situation is going to be good but that God can use all situations good or bad for a greater purpose. This promise is specifically for those that love God and are living according to His calling.

God has promised to be with and help his people during times of affliction and temptation (testing). Because of His presence there is no need to be discouraged and He has promised to strengthen and help us. During our greatest test He has promised to hold us up with His right hand which is a symbol of His power. So if you are facing what looks like insurmountable odds trust God to be with you and to bring you through victoriously, remembering He loves you!

My thought for today is Deuteronomy 8:18 NLT “Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath.”
To give context, the children of Israel were being told to obey the commands of The Lord and remember His goodness. They were told to do this so that they’d never think that it was through their own abilities that they would gain wealth but Moses instructed them to remember The Lord for it is He that gives the ability to be successful that God’s promises for their life might be realized.
So whether it’s a business, a coaching job or the building of a life, remember God. For it is He that gives the ability to be successful!

My thought for today is Galatians 6:9-10 KJV “And let us not be weary in well And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”
There is always the opportunity to do right by people. Many times we miss the opportunities we have to render a kind act. Wether it’s offering a smile and compliment to someone or something as simple as holding the door for someone. However, when we do good let it be from the heart, not expecting anything in return. The bible let’s us know that if you’ll live in this manner you will receive your reward in due season, if you don’t faint.
Look around today and make a conscious effort to do good and then by faith believe that you will reap your reward in due season and always remember that God loves you!
